Who is Daily Athlos for?
- The lifelong athlet busy with a full time job and/or a family.
- The lifelong athelet currently competing who is searching for an off-season, full-body strength & conditioning program.
- Anyone who has been deemed healthy and safe for general preparedness exercise by his or her healthcare provider.
- A basic knowledge of safe lifting practices is strongly recommended before starting this program.
What principles guide Dr. Grant when writing Daily Athlos?
- All movement begins with the spine, supported by the core; and flows to the extremities.
- Function movement patterns.
- Large muscle group recruitment.
- Regular use of accessory movements for joint & tendon health.
- Periodization through strength and cardio biases.
- Variety in loads, tempos, and intensities.
What modalities are used in Daily Athlos?
- Weight lifting which consists of Olympic lifting, powerlifting, and dumbbells/kettlebells.

Minimalist, at-home version of the Daily Athlos
Armed with nothing more than mind, body & minimal eqipment, the Daily Spartan Athlete is a warrior built for life’s battles.

Who is Daily Spartan for?
- The busy, lifelong athlete training with minimal equipment.
- The lifelong athlete currently competing and searching for an offseason supplemental program to increase their strenght & conditioning.
- The traveling lifelong athlete normally following the Daily Athlos, but temporarily training without much equipment.
- Anyone who has been deemed healthy and safe for general preparedness exercise by his or her healthcare provider.
- A basic knowledge of safe lifting practices is strongly recommended before starting this program.
What principles guide Dr. Grant when writing Daily Spartan?
- The Daily Spartan follows the same underlying principles as Daily Athlos; but you can do it at home.
What modalities are used in Daily Spartan?
- Kettlebell & dumbbell movements
- Odd object movements
- Banded exercises
- Bodyweight movements including yoga & gymnastics
- Running, jumping & jump rope
